Whilst many candidates may opt for the highest paid international teaching jobs or choose a popular tax-free ‘holiday’ destination we have seen an overwhelming response of candidates who are willing and preferring to explore more underdeveloped regions where they can share their life experiences and teaching skills.
As well as servicing recruitment needs for international private schools, PIC also promotes and helps education charities that help less privileged children a right to a FREE education.
PIC is committed to child safeguarding and ensuring the welfare of children through safer recruitment. We advise all candidates and schools to read about our safer recruitment to understand the vetting processes we have in place.
All candidates registering with PIC will undergo a number of checks to ensure their suitability to work with children. When submitting a CV to PIC, ensure that this has been completed to an acceptable standard. Employment history must show the start and completion dates as months and years and any gaps must be explained.
A complete educational background is required, showing awarding institutions for each level of qualification with the awarded grade(s). Dates of attendance at each institution must show months and years. UK teachers should include their DfES number as well.
Before a formal offer of employment is made to a candidate, at least two professional references will be provided. Nominated referees must include the current (or most recent) school leader and only school email accounts will be accepted. We appreciate the sensitive nature of requesting references and therefore we will only do so with the expressed permission of a candidate.
